I'm getting pretty tired of all this Family Guy comparison bullshit. I happen to know the guy who made this, and this is just a re-animated version of a Flash he did long before the whole Family Guy explosion.
Besides the fact that the only similarities between the two are the fact that it's about a family, and that it has a lot of quick jokes. Seth McFarlane is awesome, but he did not create the idea of an adult cartoon about a family, with irreverent fast-paced humor.
ELD doesn't have the constant flashback jokes, nor does it have the endless pop-culture references that Family Guy is known for. I dare all you shit-talkers to make a cartoon that works as well as this does. And, even if you did, I'm sure people would find something to compare it to.
Keep up the good work, Jason. Don't let people like this elitist Rolling-Stone-critic wannabe get you down.

The style and animating was good, and there could have been some really good things happening in this flash. But instead, you jumped on the wacky-random-happening-dad bandwagon and made a show that tries to emulate the same formula we see in anything Seth MacFarlane has to do with. You try to make it funny, until you realise it's the same trash we see every night anyway.
The storyline was old as well, but still has some life in it as long as someone with mild imagination is behind the wheel. I stopped watching after Dick fell in shit.
And giving the main character a knob for a head? Boo.
Juvenile, unoriginal, and just too stupid to finish watching. Try again, because you've got a good visuals. Just think a little harder about the plot and humor, and don't think we all want to watch a 7-minute long Family Guy joke.
