Man reviews like this drie me nuts, because there were so many things this game had going for it. It was a freaking teeny file and Atari-ish graphics that showed you didn't need to be visually impressive or flamboyant and complex in code to make a good game. And for the most part it was...
But the clipping, man. Gaping freaking hole that almost killed it. Several jumps in particular where you had to jump at your full range, you ended up making it to the far side, but the clipping decided you didn't hit the platform's surface so you fell the length of the wall -- half-submerged inside it. I almost put it down in the second part when you had to make so many of these.
Glad I didn't though, the ending was kinda funny. Even though when the screen completely blacked out right afterward with no warning I wasn't sure if that was entirely the end, and I just sat there in awkward silence for a few seconds before closing the window.
