I liked the effects an animation, but it could've used a plot an probably could've made it a lil longer, but nonetheless its still a good start

The only thing the previous guy had to say was "I didn't like it". Damn. It was okay, I liked the quality, but yes, very short.
Quality not quantity
Since you gave an account on what you thought style consisted of, I'll give a more detailed breakdown.
I actually agree with your definition, and I can see why you would include such a qualifier- since it arguably constitutes a more objective judgment of art, whatever that may be. In regards to style, your animation is smooth, well synchronised with the sound, and lends itself to a sense of realism. The framing was similarly well done, and it seems that you know how to animate well. I especially noted the blood effects. I can understand why you included different color coding for the bodies and heads, although it does seem to be a bit glaring in terms of aesthetics. Perhaps working on fuller bodies would be a way around this, but of course that's up to you.
On the other hand, Newgrounds is host to a multitude of flash pieces done by many excellent animators. While it may seem rather anally retentive to think so, I would say that the only significant defense one can offer for such a short item is if it offers something totally new and innovative in terms of any subject matter, presentation or technique. A groundbreaker, which should be published as an example for dissemination, adaptation, and preserved for posterity. While the animation here is very good, I wouldn't be convinced if I told myself it was somehow groundbreaking. I know to say that what's here is insufficient will seem unfair when one looks at much of the content on the remainder of newgrounds, but I suppose I am comparing to some of the best here, and thus, if you could do something more substantial, or at least something that seems more significant (yes, length isn't everything), and to a similar standard I'm sure it will perform very well.
