Last person to review... you're right, you're not a war scholar. I believe his story said that this was the last garrison. Archers are normally kept in defense of structures, set on the walls.
These guys all look like knights, rather than common soldiers, so that's less of a reason for archers to accompany them. And where the hell is your sense of fantasy? If you're going to be a 110% realist, go somewhere else. You have to make allowances for creativity and the loosely termed "Coolness factor", which matters alot when making a flash of this sort.
The voices were... alright, but incredible, but not bad either. I do feel that the timing was a bit off on some of the action, but nothing too big. Not a bad flash, all in all.

You know, I'm no war scholar or anything but, doesn't an army ALWAYS have archers with them? After i saw him (the main character?) just rush into the battle I just quit watching. Horrible voices and god-awful renditions of a battle. I don't care if that guy is Yagyu Munenori, one man cannot take an army..period. Great animation though.
