I'm rating my own thing....

The reason I'm rating this is not to boost the scores, if I were doing that, I'd give myself all 10s. Let me point out a few things about this flash.

1. We decided to make one movie based on the CD we bought at an Improv how (like Whose Line is It Anyway) so don't ding us on the voices and humor.

2. We are given >500 minutes to create a flash from scratch in class. We have to tur in a project every 5 days. Therefore, given our timeframe, we had only enough time to synch the characters and do an okay background. (I did the animations for Jebidiah, the medium sized monk, mastadj did the other two). We couldn't make a background until we finished. And even then, we had to go into every symbol to synching the lightning effects.

3. mastadj posted this behind my back. I'm surprised to see it doing so well, but I never thought it was my best work. I hate myself for admitting that we actually got fourth place for this.

currently I'm working on another cartoon at home and a music video here in class, so don't expect ANY sequels to this. The movie is fine as it is, but it's not good enough for a sequel (sequels are rarely better then the first movies)

With that said, get off my lawn before I throw ripe cabbage at you.

Well I think it was a good idea posting it on the site, Plus it made front page and 4th place on 11/22. I made that desicion because i think that we'd both agree to. You seemed happy that i did.

AMUSING

The idea is very good. THe monks arguing over th commandments, bizare
along with the sound. the voices were very beleivable.
I'd have to give you congrads on this one. It was entertaining
th graphics ere more than decent although a few things lik the clouds could use some improvments. perhaps if they veried some more.. just a sugestion

I liked how the arguments were so seriously thought of and how everyone kinda pitched in lol, it was pretty good, a bit glitchy but overall a fine peice of work

It was an alright flash animation, the graphics and sound were good, but the level of dificulty was easy, but at least clean. The humour was a bit dry to say the least, but it was there. In the future, put more time into making the bodies actually move and not just the arms and heads moving, and also make it so the humour is more out there for the taking (meaning people will laugh out loud). It had potential, and if this is one of your first flash animations then I have to say you're on the right track. Keep up the good work and push yourself to make even better animations.
