Art school!
Glad to see someone who's studied thier books. Contrast is important as one of the elements of art. (Line, Color, Shape, Contrast, Emphasis, Repetition, etc.) I'm extremely pleased to see that you've thought about these elements as you've implemented them. I think everyone on NG should take at least one course in Art Theory or Histotry.

Nah, I dont have the courage to go to art school or even be an art major, at that (though I'm a little envious of people who do.) Even now being a multi-media and computer science major, I have fears of becoming a starving artist. But I'm fascinated by art theory and how/why certain elements are appealing to the eye, and like to play with them when I can.

Nice piece of work of art in terms of animation and audio, but of all things about a suicide, why a jack rabbit? Why not just go ahead and use a male or female. That was my only pet peeve.

I didn't expect anyone to read the design element portion, but it briefly explains why I used the rabbit. At the root of this animation is a joke. It's a RABBIT contemplating JUMPING... I find a lot of irony and humor in that concept, but it's contrasted by a very serious and emotional animation. Thus, my design element: contrast.

This is absolutly beautiful animation story is odd but intriguing, i really like the picture at the very begining the shadowing is amazing.
anyway I only gave you a 7 because the story isent exactly clear yet.
