Cool concept
only critisism I have is that I'm not sure if the visual style meets with the story line all that well.
That was pretty good.
Excellent film. However, calling it an original series seems to make some people angry. If you had called it a Resident Evil Tribute, the reviews would read as follows:
LOL YOU ROXXORS!
THIS TRIBUTE IS GREEEEAAAAAT!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
WET FLOOR LOL
etc.
The wet floor bit was funny.
Not a complete hash job on the story.
You did have some original plot in there. All together your animation was good. You could have added some more lines in the walls like grain or something for that creepy look, instead of using solidly colored objects. The timing was also on point. Work on your perspective a little bit in your sequel, and use your camera angles with purpose.
too much like Resident Evil
I'd have to say that this is way too much like Resident Evil. So much so, that I'd almost call it plagerism. Other than that I like the style, the sound, and everything else about it. But it seriously lacks in originality.
