You're doing it wrong...
Sorry man. You have 3 seperate key signatures going on here, it sounds pretty horrendous. If you weren't sure of the notes you should have had the original with you or some sort of control piece so you can compare the two and listen out for where you went wrong. Everything is in the right place, but the intonation is too far out for it to make any aural sense. =/

I'm not really a music magician so it's hard to explain, but a lot of the tunes sound really off key or something. It just doesn't feel right.

You may be confused about some decisions to make for sounds, so i'm gonna give some help. If you can't figure out how you want to make something sound, OFF KEY IS NEVER THE RIGHT ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off key does not make it sound edgy, cool, interesting, or even original. All you will accomplish is pissing of the people who loved the original, like me, and turn off the ones that haven't herd it before.
