liek itsh

like this one, reminds me of a yoshi;s island song when the main melo kicks in, nice low-fi kicks and efx, not overpowering, bass is nice and oldschool, however I don't like the off-tuney parts that happen, just something about them that doesn't seem right, I don't really like the first few transitions, cold-turkey and all, I like the ones later though.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Hmm... Not sure which off-tuney parts you're talking about. And yeah, the first transition is really harsh, but that's one of my favorite parts of the song. Thanks for the constructive review!

its good

the best part is that it totally fits the goal you wer going for, i can see this in a game as the tutorial section, really cool stuff

it does repeat a few times and it get pretty repetitive, but i suppose that kind of needed for what you were going for, although i will say i like the little breakdown in the middle of the track, it slightly cushions the repetitiveness

some of notes though, they sound like they start lound, then the drop and and get quiet, it only does it w/ the "lead" synth

i like it quite a bit

peace out

PuffballsUnited responds:

Hmm... I think I noticed the volume problem too. I'll look into it.

Not bad

If you hadn't made the intro so long, relative to the length of the rest of the tune, this would be a stellar piece. Sometimes, too much buildup can prove to be a track's undoing, as it has here. Try throwing 2 or 3 elements into the tune together, or go through less runs of the basic component loop before you get to adding a new piece.

I can certainly say that the latter part of the track sounds great - there is a wealth of great sounds that would certainly make this feel at home in a Kirby or even perhaps a LoZ setting. Keep working at it and you'll have something that artists want to use :)

PuffballsUnited responds:

Yeah, I never noticed how long the intro really was. Thanks for the feedback!

Well I guess I have the same complaints as the other people had. The transitions were a bit rough and that's coming from someone that really doesn't know much about music, which means they were a bit obvious in this submission. :P

The song itself is pretty good though. It really reminds me of something where you would see a character discovering a wonderful world that he has never seen before and there isn't any limits on what he can do. It kind of goes with the title of the song as well.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Yep, most people have been giving me the same advice, so I know which parts aren't working.

LOL COOL!~

some of it was irritating but i really liked the main beat!~ XD

PuffballsUnited responds:

I'm sorry part of it was irritating. Probably too many instruments or something.
