Reviews for "*- Dreams and Nightmares"

i fucking love it

great stuff, i really like chill acoustic stuff like this

no complaints, mabye you could post the lyrics so we can follow along better?

simple guitar parts, which isnt bad, just sayin

are you doing both of the vocals?

you should put some background piano chords in there, that could add a new depth of chill to this song that would be nice

peace out

Nice work...

Vocals were quite good, and provided each other witha great harmony blend, although they went a bit discordant for a few seconds in some parts.

Melody was pretty simple and plain but it blended in well with the genre of music which you wanted to portray. The background and chord progressions weren't bad, but yet again, they were too simple for my liking.

Not a bad piece of music and you definetely did a good job with the lyrics and the meaning. Needs a bit more emotion from your voice though.

It isn't my type of music, so I almost gave you a lower rating, but I remembered my bias for metal and reconsidered.

Instrumental: Basic, so easy that I could play it without looking for the tabs if I wanted to. Nice sound though, has an obvious calming affect. Doesn't take away from the vocals at all.

Vocals: It's always hard for me to judge vocals fairly, even harder in independent music. The lyrics are interesting at best. They are obviously the lead in this song and tell an effective story (more than I can say for more famous music).

Music: Simplistic in nature, flows easily enough, and is a song I'm sure many people would probably have on an iPod. However, I won't say it's anything different from other pieces, and it honestly doesn't amaze me.

Good job overall, keep it up.5/5, 7/10.

Buttersctoch, yo!

This was a pretty interesting music piece. I did not like it as much as some reviewers because I was kind of turned off by the title. I was expecting something more like a song that would start off graceful, but then turn scary to explain how nightmares come from dreams. The lyrics aren't the best, but the strongest part they have is your voice. You just have a really smooth voice that can sing well. It creates an authentic feel.

I don't think you even say the title in the song itself. You appear to be rather handy with the guitar and it has a good casual feeling going for it. It ends on a pretty simple and positive note as well. You could just put in some more variety and maybe a wider use of instruments. It's the kind of song that makes you prepared for the summer.
