Reviews for "CT/TCG/FF4: Metal Symphon"

It sounds like...

An Intro theme for some steampunk / sci-fi jRPG game. And that's why it's awesome :D 5/5

~Haspen.

Awesome as usual.

Great work bro. Pretty much anything and everything I would ever want in Frog's theme. Complimented with some other sweet beats and you got yourself a kickass chocolate ear candy sundae just like mom used to make!
Keep it up good sir.

Chocolate ear candy sundae.

I'm sorry, that is all kinds of awesome.

Man..

You need to apply for a music job in video games dude. If you put your music to the most dull and boring game there was, I would still enjoy playing it. Stuff is so EPIC.

Seriously. I want to be playing a game with music done by bitium-ribbon,

The Champion of Toads!

Well, after hearing your lovely comment about my critique (which I always TRY to give out good ones) So I decided to give you another.

First of all, very VERY interesting choice of music selection. Never would I guessed in my wildest dreams that not only Frog's theme and FF4 go well together but add in the Pokemon TGC?! That deserves props!

As from what I heard after listening to Raving Mad, I noticed that you added that same subtle transitioning from one game to another. Clearly blending is your strongest point as this one gave off the same beat, keeping the basic rhythm going. In music, it's always good to learn how to blend properly and when it is not alright and this shows that you CAN do it!

Now, even though the basic instruments that you had; a synth, guitar, etc. helped with the blending, sometimes they made it seem too... monotonous to play the same riff at times. However, for the most part you were very spot on, especially when you started getting about halfway.

Loved the switch to more power around 2:24, and I ADORED the sheer power of that last bit of Frog's theme. Made me actually do the thing that my music teacher would do and jump up shouting "Now THAT'S what I wanna hear!"

!0/10, I can't give you any less because you know what you're doing! Great creativity in the picking of music choices, loved the power at the ending half, even though to me the beginning seemed to drag a bit.

Love this stuff and hope you make more in 2010!

Keep up the great work!

Good to hear from you again!

I will be honest, after putting this up I really didn't know what I thought of it. It's much more artificial sounding than I'd like it to be, and there are parts that just... bug me. However, I'm really glad it struck a few good chords with you and I do enjoy reading your reviews.

Don't know when my next bit of work will be up, but one of these days I'll get out of this ditch of no inspiration I'm in the middle of.

Cheers!

Man...

...the only thing I can say is that I love all the remix jobs you do. Period.
