haha. I love it. I've watched A LOT of animations (insomnia will do that to you) and I can say with 100% certainty that this is the first animation series that I actually laugh with, not at mind you. I enjoy blockhead, he may be the most inept creature in the land but he can still keep a smile on his "mouth hole." I may be going crazy but I feel like the alcoholic, framed by the single light, perhaps represent the pressures of adulthood. While our hero, Blockhead represent the happiness and discovery associated with childhood. I'm sensing deep freudian undertones. Good Stuff!

It's funny because I think insomnia has a lot to do with my making these. Otherwise I wouldn't find the time...I am doing a lot of work getting my Master's degree in history. Note: working on your comic from 1:00 - 10:00 AM (before ever sleeping) has a lot to do with helping you portray insanity. Sleep deprivation aids me in making these things, but it seem that it helps you enjoy it. Hell, I can't complain with that.

I'd say that Blockhead, now, is my escape from adulthood, but I invented him way back when I was in middle school, so I am not sure. I used to draw the comics in Spanish class back in 94' and 95' mostly, so perhaps his craziness is a reflection of how I felt trying to learn a foreign language. Or maybe I was that idiot, but I knew I couldn't get away with the things Blockhead could. hence the comic.

Side Note: The year is 1994. In the still comic I drew in middle school, Blockhead ruined a teacher's classroom with his stupidity. The teacher upon whom the comic was based actually read the comic and loved it. I swear to you that I thought she was about to fail me when she read about Blockhead calling her a hideous freak. Go figure. I suppose it made me the man I am today.

Lacked a little stupid, but still great

Conscience didn't hang around as long as I would've liked. Still, great flash. The flash, liked the other 2, looked and sounded awesome. The first half with the drive-thru was awesome, yet I didn't care that much for the part at home. Still a great series though.
