Reviews for "ECHO - Reverb-X (2009)"

somewhat..

somewhat standard sounding, although the leads you use def. have a tad of originality to them, especially the trumpet, thats actually a really good trumpet, i think ill go download that after this

might i reccomend looking into some piano vst's, there a quite a few out there that are free and still sound pretty nice, KVR audio should be a good place to check, i just hate the way FL Keys sound, this track would sound alot better with some prettier pianos, mabye some soft reverb

also, try changing up your bassline a bit throughout the song, it gets a bit old pretty fast, just sayin

overall, its pretty good, i think it could use a bit of work

oh yeah i forgot, your kick, try layering kicks on top of each other, of putting effects on your kick to pump it up, the kicks us have hardly cuts through the mix, a good strong kick is essential on dance music, i think anyways

also, its useless to ask zero bombers to not zero stuff, there still gona do it just as much as they always do

Peace out

Echo responds:

Thanks man.

Already started work on the bassline and yeah, i really need some good pianos. I'll try looking over the net for some tks. ;)

Thanks for the tip about the kicks. Try to put it in the revised version.

I know about the zero bombers, but i just figure i should ask just the same. maybe some one of them will actually the read the blooming author's just once in a while. You never know ;)

Tks for the review.

A little repetitive

I think there's a few issues with high end static on the sounds of the piano at the end, which is a shame, since you've come up with a decent sounding piece of music, sos tick to it and keep working on your stuff here.

With the way that you get the synths and the other keyboard instrument (horn) to duel one another, one of them plays the notes that were the same as it had just played. It sounds wrong, so having them play different notes would be a great boon to the piece, as otherwise it just sounds too 'samey' and takes away from your good work with the rest of the track.

Echo responds:

yeah, i know bout the piano. its not really such a good sample. I've downloaded a couple of new ones, hopefully those'll work better.

I agree with you bout the same melody and i suppose that i could change what they did a bit. I'll try to include it in the revised version [God that's a lot of stuff to include :)]

Anyway, tks for the review...
