I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the whole thing. One of the hardest parts about doing cartoons (especially funny ones) is balancing it so that it flows throughout the entire animation. I think after three years the Fred cartoons are finally starting to get there! Thanks for leaving the nice review.
Pretty dam good
short and sweet, better than most, nice one
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. And I appriciate you taking a minute to write a review afterwards. I think the next one will be a little longer, and hopefully I can keep up the levels of humor and pacing in it as well! Thanks again.
:o)
I dont know who fred the monkey is - but I'm gonna make a point of finding out! I really liked that...and I have no idea whats wrong with the guy who reviewed below me...idiot
Oh, in the three years I've been animating Fred, I've found some people just prefer other types of humor. And that's cool. But the fact that there are people who DO like the cartoons is enough for me to keep making them. So thanks for the positive review! Hope you enjoy the other cartoons as you find out all about Fred the Monkey! =)
Can't even put my finger on why this was so funny
Even when I give things humor ratings above 5 (which are good if you think about it), it is rarely because I actually laughed. This had me laughing the whole way through. I get the impression that the jokes wouldn't even have been that funny on the page, but they were delivered perfectly with understated voice acting. Great stuff.
Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. It's funny, I never really thought I was good at voice acting until everyone kept telling me I was. I guess it's one of those things I take for granted. Glad you enjoyed the cartoon!
lol. very nice
i love it when the characters themselves point out the animators techniques and things, such as the moving up and down when the talked, to the actually talking. the cake mix thing was awesome. lol, great job.
Yes, it's kind of fun when they break the "3rd Wall" as it is called and make it very apparent that they are just as aware of animation techniques as the viewers. Some of my favorite "3rd Wall Breakings" have been with the old Muppet movies. They talk about how they're in a movie while the movie is going on. Classic. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and I'm glad you liked the cartoon!
