Great start
Pretty good game i like the layout and the sprites werent bad. I think if you put in some powerups and maybe a end boss it would be cooler. ;)

Your artwork is beautiful, the movement was great. I especially enjoyed 'beam no jutsu' when you used the special thing.
My only advice is different sound effects and jmore than just 'lol' when you get to the end mabye another level?

This could probably be a good game, but it gets heavily dull when you can just press the space bar to kill things. That super cool beam seemed pretty pointless, and having the same enemies again and again come at you doesn't improve things.
Next time, make those baddies fire beams at you, so that you actually have to move. The music was good, so don't change that. And...get a new background. It is pretty rubbish.

... to be honest, I actually enjoyed that quite a bit! It's got that elusive addictive quality that's hard to find in a shooter, but it does really need more variety (one level like that can be very enjoyable, but if you decide to finish the game, the other levels must be different!). Nice graphics, nice animation, nice sound, nice music... all pretty well done (loved the special, by the way). The only other problem I found was a bug, when you come back after you die, some of the acorns can't be killed (why still being able to kill you).
