Nice mix
This was a great song to begin with. The original was actually the one that got me hooked on your music.
I especially like the way you mix in the new beats along with some of the original melody. That was a great idea.

My favorite on Newgrounds at the moment
The original version of this song was fantastic, but this tops it in every way.
The development of the melody has been fleshed out much more fully.
Favorite parts:
- 0:43: The low piano note is a good resolution of the tension that builds up in first 43 seconds. The little accompanying phrase up high on the piano is a nice touch as well.
- 1:39 to 2:05: Well, what can I say. This part is beautiful. It's really refreshing to have that intermission at 1:51.
- 2:34 to 3:15: A rather drawn-out, but really effective return to the original melody. Great stuff.
- 3:43: Ah, the key change. The trump card of any good song. I liked how you stopped the beat to prelude it as well. Another example of how well you developed the melody in this piece.
- 4:24 to the end: Finally, the synth comes in. And it's friggin epic when it does. Those precious few seconds are used extremely well.
My only gripe is the transition at 0:15.... could be a little smoother I feel, it's a bit awkward. But that's not enough to overcome a perfect 10. It is definitely, I feel, the most deserving of a 10 I've heard on Newgrounds.
