Reviews for "A Painful Melody (trance)"

Great

Sounds Like Something In "Metroid Prime."

Awesome,

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Great Game... very honored. Thanks :)

Wow

Your using a keyboard and producing more pro sounding stuff than some people who use complex programs lol

This is pretty sweet man. And one of the most origional sounding trance/techno songs I've seen around in a while. It's not complex but its not really simple either... its beautiful man. You always put an awesome touch to any project you do and each time you blow me away.

This is a great song!

keep rocking

It's getting hard not to repeat my self in my reviews.
so I'll keep this on short.
Keep the music like this going and you never recive anything less than a 10 from me or a five in score.
keep rocking your, and your fan base will keep growing.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

I loved the ending on this one. When the piano playing starts to get fast. Sends shivers down my spine. Thanks for the review.

a struggle?

I think this is quite a great piece... but do I hear some struggle in making of this song? I've always thought you were heavily on classical sounds, which could lead to difficulty using techno sounds (god help me, i'm still learning how to spell... Saew? ;).

The techno sound could be reduced in future songs containing techno qualities, or at least not so loudly. The overpowers the piano, and conflicts with it to some degree. Also a flanger effect on the electronic rythym might give it a neat effect.

Kudo's.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

... flanger...? lol... stop with the words people. Of course I struggled with this song lol. Took me forever to write that entire thing in real time without screwing up. haha. I'm usually classical, but this time around I wanted to play around. This was a fun lil experiment... I like the end. Yah... turn down the techno sound... I agree. Thanx again.

Captivating.

This is a powerful, entrancing melody. Invokes image of both prosperity, yet only to have that prosperity burned to cinders, crushed, utterly obliterated. Very nice. Painful, but captivating all the same.
