Reviews for "Acid Function"

yeah

i was listening and enjoying the little drums and the soft chorus. Then the little koto type intrument came in and i knew it would be good. Now what would make this good and solid, is a good bassy and loose beat,is what i thought next. And...

Bang.

It hit me. I love those drums, but i dont like how many limited patterens there are on them. Your drums are good, but they need variability.

And another thing. U gotta have an instrument that pulls it all together. Like a good solid tech string/ Orachastraic string.

other than that, perfection is at hand my friend. I know u can make sumthing better.
Even though this is almost godly in itself.

cool

i loved it it was so smooth and fluent.... i make stuff for audio portal and i as a composer myself say this is quite a nice peice

awesome

nice drum beat as usual. this seems liek a classic trance song. this should be a more popular song for you. i really like this one. compared to your others at least. couldve used a nice string overlay, thats always good for trance songs.

Nice...Smooth

Hey - I figured I'd drop a few reviews - this is really good man! - Very smooth - nice job on it - audio flutters were very cool.

Keep posting - keep it up!

btw - I'm originally from NY as well - good luck up there - the music scene is awesome in NY.

Always-Dark responds:

I didn't know you were "originally from NY". The music scene is good here, i just need to buy me a set of turntables, some good 12" and ill be set. but right now at 15....im pretty much limited to my FL Studio...

Slick.

Good quality production and simple but effective melodies. The transitions are tight and smooth, but i'm not sure how DnB this actually is. The beats could do with some work, perhaps try chopping them up a bit and adding some more variance. If you heavied them up with some ditortion and perhaps do the same to most sections of the trk it would start sounding abit more like DnB for me.
Good stuff/

OK i should've added this to the description, this was a collab. Me and a friend of mine did this together. He was the one that came up with the drums, i did the arp, bass, ..err, and some other stuff. w.e
