The drums started out perfect and spot on...but after the first drum fill...it started going out of time.

Not bad, not bad.
This loop should be a start to a song or something man. This reminded me of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" or Megadeth's "Back in the Day". The drums need a bit of work, as they sounded like they were doing something completely different from the guitar. All and all, good work my friend.

I can hear that you're getting better with your drum program, well done for your perserveirance (spelling?). This is good, very good effort dood.
One complaint though. I couldn't follow the timing. This will make great background music dood. Keep fighting it dood and you'll overcome your drum program.
