he got away, and this isnt very good but still decent, but its missing something...

Actually, Luigi did not get away. Near the end, he picks up a hammer and attempts to ambush Mario with it. However, the huge "?" box falls down and mooshes him quite a bit, hence the splat-like sound. =3
