A very nice piece of music
It really is very good. To me it sounds sorta like a mix of a classical piece and a western piece because of the wistling sounds that's in the background. This really does sound like the theme for a hero of some sort.
The beginning is really cool, starting with just some string instruments then slowly bringing everything else in and then the drum starts crescendoing and brings everything else in.
I love how everything gets soft around :40 and it's the piano that has the melody, it's really cool sounding with the tambourine in the back with it, it really sets a nice mood with the music.
I like how around 1:12 to the end you start using a bass drum and all the instruments and doing short little notes till the trumpets or whatever instrument it was, comes in and it ends. Good job with the music, it was very nice.

As for the part 39-56ish... I think that may be my most favorite thing I've ever composed. I've also come to realize that I'm much more in love with the tambourine than I'd care to admit... The last three of my instrumentals all had heavy tambourine. This song, Torngaea, and Save My Life.
It's funny, when I created this song, It was at first just the chorus, and I was so scared to make this song, cause I liked how it turned out too much. Then as I finished composing the song, the chorus became my least favorite part of the song, haha. Overall, I also think the drums are the best I've composed, too.

i can just picture some hero setting out on the adventure of a lifetime... this song is absolutely perfect for a video game. it actually makes me want to learn how to make a flash game just so i could make this the hero's theme :P
