I felt bad for the people who stood by watching each episode a week when you watch the reruns now and it gets nowhere when they show 5 days full of the episodes in order. It's called editing and getting to the point, not dragging it out and make the audience exhausted. If the characters didn't stand there looking constipated the whole time maybe it would have worked
