GREAT job for a first
actually, even if you hadn't said it was your first it's still pretty damn good... but man, the sounds are nothing short of annoying! The animation and drawing styles are great. The theme is a little too tom n jerry for me but that's getting into a subjective area.
i guess that the title is a little too Tom 'n' Jerry like, but at least i'm putting my own idea in. 'sides, wouldn't be a cat'n'mouse cartoon without that sort of title. The sounds are annoying because i ony had about 20 or 30 to choose from, and with only a few being actually useful i had to repeat some of them OVER and OVER again. Shame... Next episode will be nothing short of ths one (if not better). Sound will be a major improvement however.

I agree with scorpio the sounds man, they're just too much. Pretty good lil animation though. I like the fact that it was like a cross between Tom & Jerry and Itchy & Scratchy. Keep up the good stuff.Cheers!
Once again, the sound bank i had available was very small and i DID do this animation on a school computer. I'm downlading and making new sounds/ soundtracks as we speak and i will check into the audio portal to make sure that this part of the media improves. Thanks for the 6, i guess that for a first try it was hard earned.
Not Bad
You may want to take if easy on the sound effects. It seems to be a little too much, especially when the mouse is chewing. It just got to be annoying about halfway through.
On the flip side, you have a great idea for a series! Keep up the good work.
You got a point. The chewing DOES annoy people after the first time it's played (apart from that, those sounds are YEARS old!). But you gotta admit... If i didn't brake your balls with these kinda sounds then you wouldn't have something from this film to talk about, would you now ;)
Annoyance is one way of getting noticed. The other is getting it right the first time... No chance, i already screwed that one up :P
Jerry can be just as devious!
It reminded me of Tom and Jerry, don't underestimate Jerry he is devious as well! I liked how you had a background and how it was well drawn, some places needed tightning up ( like whenever you would see the kitchen door ) Maybe you can also add some general background music. I liked it though, and i hope to be seeing many more from you. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the reminder, but rest assured that i will never underestimate a character like Jerry, who made me laugh so much as a 5 year old and got me started on my pathway to cartooning. I will take the advice on board as i'm still a learning student and i've only begun using flash as of two to three weeks ago. Thans for the vote. it means so much to me!

have you ever considered making a series on it? the movie is very well animated, and it has certainly no lack of humor as compared to other similar flashes. it never lost its appeal, and it clearly reflects your animation style, as well as youir sense of humor and creativity. it's highly enjoyable to watch, and it would kick serios ass if youi did it in FBF style. i recommand you watching Another day series ( if you haven't) for more inspiration.
Indeed i have considered making Ratbag and Furball into a series... as of a few seconds ago when i found that the first episode was a fair success for what i was: a tutorial that turned into a very good idea. i will watch as many different series as i can to learn how to get by. by the way, what's FBF? i'm fresh from Italy and i'm not very good with abbreviations...
