entertaining indeed, but i thought it wasn't quite of the 'kegel' or 'pepsi girl WOD' caliber. the animation, for example, was second rate for your usually top-shelf work.

Good, but not as good as your other works
The idea and setup for this piece is solid and fun. An angry gnome beating and killing everything he sees is original.
The only problems I have with this is that you made this too simple. The motions tweens you used to make all your characters move, make this seem like you wanted to skip out on the effort required to make them animated (Of course I can understand this, it take forever to animate pictures).
Also, if you're going to set this up as a series, please let your audience know what makes this grumpy old gnome so angry and aggressive. Let your audience know exactly what sets him off because it's a good idea to let your audience see how he builds up his anger.
Overall, this is still decent because your drawings are still in very good quality. And your ideas are still very original and funny.
