good so far

its good so far, maby some kinda speed up button on the text, like the A button in most ninty games skips to the next part? i oive the whole silent main player thing too, verrrrry ninty. it took me a while to figure out how to kill that first shyguy... and i reeeaaaly dont like the egg throw bit, make sure to mention you can only knock em off if fully loaded, i only figured it out last life. maby half the length too? tis very annoying, i gave up... otherwise good, love the yoshi story sounds. keep up the good work.

that was good :). slow text though (as you said) i'm sure you can speed that up! =P. the graphics are ok, but i know you can spiff them up a bit =D. not bad for a beta! keep the good work! i'm expecting a full version ;)

Not Bad for a Beta!

Keep working on this! I'm a big fan of Yoshi's Island so this brough back quite a few memories. I liked the different game modes and the first battle wasn't too shabby, though it could have gone a little bit faster.

You acknowledge that the text moves slow - good, but it really makes the game unplayable. I have the attention span of a walnut and can't be bothered to wait 5 seconds for the boxes of text to crawl on-screen; sorry. Improve this and you'll be on your way to a great game! I died (and gave up) at just the egg-throwing exercise; I couldn't get the hang of it with the three lives I had and wasn't about to take the time to get to the same point (I know you can skip dialogue, but I was just tired by this point).

Good job so far, keep it up!
