I've had first-hand experience with this kinda thing too. I live here in Shanghai and my pirate copy of Batman Begins was in Russian with English subtitles, except the subtitles where taken directly from "Top Gun", so bruce wayne can be heard saying "maverick, i got one on my tail" when he's being jumped in the first scene of the movie.
Anyway, this was by far the worse english translation I've seen in a while, but nothing will ever top my two favorites:
"immediatellycookcoffee" (yes, one word) for instant coffee and one sign that explained how to use the restroom:
"sit down, defecate" (yes, a direct command to you)
