Good movie
I don't think you plan on finishing this movie, but you should. The graphics can suck, it doesn't matter. I'd like it.
To make the snow go away, make it so that the snow has an instance name like "snow" and then put a line of code at the start like SNOW.removemovieclip()

sure, don't press yourself to hard and take on too many things at once, that'll just end up with you quitting a lot of them. work from project to project and learn from others examples. there are some really good tutorials online you can look up, or just make friends with a high calibur animator, whichever you feel is more accessible.
