could have been better...

I wont say your game sucked because i havent tried to do flash myself, but the AI could be better, and what's up with sometimes having units that cant be attacked? I read earlier you said it wasnt a bug, but i lost just because of those units. Also, i dont know the way you programmed it but the game seems to be VERY random. Sometimes in the first rush my goliath can kill everything, and sometimes it lets up to 3 get past. I even managed to get up to the 2nd tier of defence units, twice, only to find that if my siege tank doesnt kill it, it's pretty much going to get past everything else. Having the drone turn into a spire was a cool idea, and forcing the player to use the nuke at the right time, but when i come to newgrounds and play something, i enjoy winning the first time i try, if not the second. I dont know about you, but i think it should be easier, or atleast make the zerg units weaker, or terran units stronger. Either way, i guess i'll have to say "good game" because it did give me something to do for about 15 agonizing minutes. I doubt you're going to read this anyway so for anyone who isnt the author reading this, good luck rofl.

Decent, but very buggy

I'm generally pretty easily amused, and I'll easily admit I had fun with this - however, the sheer amount of bugs I kept running into ultimately defeated my urge to continue playing. Chief among them are the following:

1) NO PAUSE BUTTON! - I cant stress enough how many times I wished I could pause this game to actually pay attention to other things. It wouldnt take away from the hectic feeling of 'have to place things now'; add one, please!

2) "cant place near unit" inconsistencies - okay, THIS should have been the second one. In fact... *fixes* Okay, now it IS the second one. First off, there seems to be a bug where some combinations of units placed in a certain order are valid, and others arent; i.e. a goliath on the far left and then a rail tank close to it can work, but put down the rail tank first in the SAME position and suddenly the goliath doesnt fit anymore. Seriously, give each unit a ringed 'space box' or something so that we can SEE how much space is needed. Maybe make another option to turn them on and off, I dont know.

3) Unintended manual firing upon placing unit - for some inexplicable reason, simply hitting the 'place unit' button can sometimes trigger the unit to fire immediately - which is BAD for those with a huge delay! And no, I didnt have the trigger option set for 'fire'; it was on remove, and it happened consistently regardless of what was set. Several times I ended up losing because I placed a unit and it instantly fired while nothing was there, then was reloading when I needed it.

4) 'Show all zones' button... doesnt. - When you turn on that option (which I personally like), you DO see all the zones... until you move a unit around and replace it. Then, regardless of whether the option is on or not, the zone is erased. A simple ifcheck should fix this bug.

5) unlocking level password - is... (censored) Yeah, Just kidding on that one. Not gonna go blabbing that! If you want to go to level two, actually play the game! *chuckles*

All in all, good show man. Do these few little fixes and it'll be a far more solid game. I'll look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

... too hard. good until the drone comes. i can beat him with the nuke but i'm forced to use it early on a huge wave of enemies then, BOOM! make it easier and make the units cheaper.
