i remember having conversations like this in my college art classes. Visual beauty really only touches on one aspect of the question though. I mean you could call a really touching image art even if it wasnt beautiful, it might be really graphic and abrasive in fact. literature is art, but books themselves arent visually beautiful and the greatest works of literary art tend to deal with thorny stuff that is not at all beautiful to look at. this kind of thing the more you think about the further you get from a conclusion. Anywho, i still liked it, its rare to see people being so earnest in their flashes, good change of pace ^_^
Hey, thanks for reviewing! I totally agree with you! In fact, that was what I was trying to say. I meant beauty in general, not only visual. I find so many books tremendously beautiful they almost burst my beauty meter off!! Perhaps I wasnt clear enough though.... If you look back at it, you'll see the meter starts rising with a Picasso painting, then Van Gogh's, Escher's, and then a picture many ppl on NG will identify: Vinnie Veritas! I find his animations (not that picture) extremely beautiful! And then Adam Phillips, who's the master of beauty... (omg!! I forgot to credit them!!!)

Nice movie
What would've made it better would be better recordings of the voices, but I can't even do well with my own toons, so I can't tell you how to do it.
Also, it would've been nice for the sunset to be coloured and detailed beautifully for us to appreciate it more.

I liked this a lot it had a lot of meaning to it. The animations was fair. I like the aproach you went for on the drawings styles, but I don't feel you achieved it on the characters I don't know, but there was something missing. Well anyway the plot was very good althought doesn't fit the title very good and powerful.
Where is that Rushing Star you were talking about? I can't wait.
I hope to see you continue your flash making and I can't wait to review them.
