The vocals were horrible, take some voice over lessons or learn how to act or something, everytime I heard someones voice it took me out of the moment.

because of the music you have on it, im a sucker for the sonic adventure music, i mean your art is like okay but not that great, keep working on it
You need a lot work.....
First off, your story was too 16-bit RPGish, some big bad army invading a small village for some items, come on. (I bet that kid's the key, right.) Be more original.
Second, of all anime styles why did you choose to copy Akira Toriyama? His art doesn't allow for much emotion.
Create your own style.
And finally the voice acting was terrible put more enthesis into your characters actions.
