that was awesome, the whole perspective the author took was original and creative. Most flashes are miniscule cartoons but this flash gets you thinking.....all i can say is "excellent"

Worldly Dependant Internets
This was completely terrific, put the worlds dependance of the computer into perfect proportion. The views and symbolics couldn't have been rendered more cohesively and correctly. Truely a work of truth and art.

I think you got a point there... computers die we are driven mad with nothing to do and the same for computers were we to die (they would sit and gather dust)

I felt the same way many years ago when I had an account on Excite until they went tunder. They deleted everything without consideration. Calendars, contacts, mail, and information. Deleted when the company that merged with them too them down as well.
It is a mistake all too often that we make. It important thing is to make plenty of back ups. If the original is destroyed, the copy live on. Perhaps that's why the world is dependent on computers. It is looking to clone itself so that an heir may live when the world dies.
But what is it dying of? It is not the environment or the inhabitants that live on it, but of something all to large that we ourselves will not know until the day it happens.
awesome concept
the poem is so true, peopel become dependent and use them all the time, such as now as i type this. Its a very interesting flash and is so true about the world. A truely deep poem.
