Reviews for "Samurai Sprite Showdown 2"

damn good

im not a fan of sprite movies, but that was pretty good... it could of used a story to make it better

AbboMan responds:

In all fairness it did have a bit of a storyline, crazy kid with many minions wants to take on the legendary Hattori Hanzo. Thanks anyway

I love it

all i can say is that i loved it. But 1 thing i wanna no where do u get sprites? please Reply

AbboMan responds:

http://panelmonkey.org/ is where i get all my sprites from mr.jonny12

Not emotionally attached.

I'm not a fan of Sprite Flash movies. Then you may ask why leave a few comments? I'm still waiting to like them. I want to see one where I can get emotionally attached to the characters. Look at the case of Red vs. Blue, a Halo spoof. They take game characters and you get involved with them. While that is different then Flash, I think the same effect can be done to replicate the feeling. Keep on plugging away at these sprite animators, one day, I'll like them :)

AbboMan responds:

ummm...........alright then?

Boring.

I usually like sprite movies, but this is just mediocre to say the least.

AbboMan responds:

Fair enough

Very nice!

I liked the sprites you used, my only critisism is the ending, the climax of the story never really elevated. This flash would have been much better if you had the final fight a little longer and have the hero take at least some damage, a flash like that would have been much better if any of the fights seemed like a real challenge. Especially at the end!

am i repeating myself? sorry! But you get what i'm saying!

AbboMan responds:

Yeah, i see your point, but as i said to the guy earlier, i didn't have a large amount of sprites on the sprite sheet so i just tried to do the best with what i had. Next time i'll try to find sprite sheets with more on them.
