Reviews for "Anxiety Cure - Club (A->N)"

really good:D

i only rated it a 9 because i prefer songs without voice this is only my opion though...... still much better then most stuff here:D

ApproachingNirvana responds:

thank you for the review. :D

a remix but still a good one

it was nice, but uh what happened to the vocals, sorta seems you just used them as sounds instead...barely hear them when they're lyrics...

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! We used the vocals, in the beginning at least, as more of an instrument. You're definitely right about that, but as you get into the song, the lyrics are used traditionally. We figured since the song's around 8 minutes long we need to put some different effects in there that would keep listeners interested.

Thanks again!

The start is too slow.

You don't even hear the main melody until 1:26, and I wouldn't be surprised if a number of people rated it down and left before getting to the good part.

The song itself is really good. I liked (and downloaded) the original ReonakRhythm version, and I like the A->N version even better. I've been waiting for a while now for you to release it (or a variant like this) on Newgrounds.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! The start is slow because it's a club mix. So when it would be played in clubs, you wouldn't hear the first 30 secs to a minute because the DJs are busy beatmatching and mixing in the song. So, while we understand that the start is a bit boring, we meant to do it that way.

The full song (original edit without drawn out intro) is available to listen to on our myspace and on lastfm. It's also available for download on major digital distribution sites (itunes/amazon/napster/rhapsode/emusi c). Also, the HQ version of this will eventually be made available on a club EP. So definitely check that out!

Thanks again for the review!

I enjoyed it

I agree with those before me that the vocals need some fine-tuning; I think leaving out some of the vocal "blips" would leave you guys better off. (Of course, those blips annoy me in any song.) Even so, the rhythm is exquisite, the bass and melody mix perfectly, and it's an excellent song overall.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! We understand that the blips you speak of are a thing of taste. They're really used like an instrument and we thought that they matched the intro and transitions that they were in. We've worked a ton on our vocals and have a lot of ways to go, but this song isn't really reflective of our current talent.

Thanks again!

RESPECKK!!!!

Now I can REALLY Move my body to THIS!!! XD

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Haha, thanks!
