Things like this are difficult to review. They're difficult to review because i know that when you're feeling down about the death of someone close you want to do anything to try and stop feeling that way (as selfish as it may be, i'm willing to bet most of us feel the same). That is the only reason you got a 3/10, it's more or less pity points.
For the flash:
Im sorry but its just not good. It's poorly done, almost rushed. Also, nothing really happens.
The other problem is the mood never changes. You should try to make people feel different emotions throughout a flash, not make them just feel pity for you the whole time. Maybe make that scene where you were grabbed scarier, and when you were helping your brother happier, and/or add some jokes in that your brother used to tell or something. This kinda thing is what makes people feel for you. What you're doing just seems like a cry for attention, as cruel as that may sound.
The last problem is the sound and dialogue. The sound sucked. The music was low and the voices we high. I was turning my sound up and down the whole time. At some parts so I could hear it and others so it wouldnt blow my ear drums out. And the dialogue, that was corney. I'm not sure if that was the script or the acting though.

First of all, I have lost my mother and I know how losing somebody feels, so we are on the same page. When I watch this, rather than seeing a tribute to your brother, I feel like im watching a tribute to those that have lost loved ones; and maybe thats what it is. I can put my self in your shoes just by seeing how you made the cartoon. I agree with a lot of people on here talking about self pity, but they dont know how lonely you become and how much you crave that love and sympthy, so I really dont blame you for this. The Flash itself was a bit sub par, but this doesnt matter all that much when your trying to convey this sort of message. By the way, nothing was really that awful in the cartoon, just below the average thing that waves through the portal. I believe this kind of flash is not even meant to be rated, especially when your story telling is quite excellent. The scores I've given it are according to your graphics and multimedia. <3 good luck in life. best wishes.
