I downloaded a free vsti called "Magical 8-bit" and put it into fruityloops to make this song.
An original 8-bit song uses only four channels to create a song, you can choose to ignore this rule but I don't like doing that lol. Here's how I used mine:
#1: Vocals
#2: Guitar Strumming + Other stuff
#3: Basslines
#4: Drums
One channel can't play 2 or more notes at the same time, so arpreggios are a way to do this (:

It was good peice of 8 bit, that took me back to playing Road Rashers on the Game Gear, jeez that thing is so outdated, but between you and me and every other person who listens to this song, I still play it ;)
Anyway, cool song, nice memory value, and it loops well to, easily could be used on a menu screen :P
