A little slow
You need to work on the pacing a little bit, but other than that good job. Just try to cut out some of the dead air where the characters are just standing there waiting to talk and that should do it.
One idea
I think it would have been hilarious if after the ball hit the boss on the head, that at the hospital instead of showing the boss in the bed, it showed the sun horribly beaten in a bed.
An Aquired Taste
I think you've taken a risk with this.
The animation is really good, and the sound is spot on. Congratulations for that. Unfortunatley you have to take into consideration the audience. This animation reminds me a lot of 'Married With Children', which is great. I think you've done really well. A lot of people won't figure out the obvious stereotyping of 1960's family life. I, however, do, and i think it's quite a good animation. Keep going for it! =D
Needs a little paint itself
A note more about the critique of your work than the actual work. Never tell your audience that the jokes were "over their head". That'll just make everyone blam your work. And really inside jokes aren't good for public work. If it requires some sort of background, give it to us, or don't include it. Otherwise, it's just not funny to people. I did however, like the laugh track. It gave it that old sitcom feel, and made up for the fact that it was very forgettable and predictible.
