Had potential, but as it is, pretty bad.
It seemed like a good game at the start. The spells are nice, the combat is okay, everything was good. So I'm exploring around and I find the boss in Viper Manor. I fight the boss and die horribly, like I expected. I figured I wasn't well enough prepared.
The second time, I go to the Viper Manor and get the Raven Armor, go to go back, and for some stupid damn reason, I can't get back to shelter. So I go up against the boss again with one level up and not enough curative items, and die again.
So the third time, I get smart. I stay around shelter and level up twice. I go to Viper Manor, get the Raven Armor and equip it, come in with about 9 Tonics and 10 Ethers, and an Elixir. The fight's going well, I'm using Tonics and Elixirs and I throw an ice sphere at her with about 55 hps left (her previous attack took me from 77 to 55, I couldn't exactly use a Tonic there or I'd never get a chance to attack!) and she attacks twice with lightning and once with a normal attack, easily dealing the 55 hps and obliterating me.
So, to review. Plenty of curative items, playing it pretty safe, had the Raven Armor, and still got my ass kicked like I couldn't believe. Which, wouldn't have been so bad if I could go back to right before the fight. But of course I can't, I'm just dead and frustrated.
You need to either make a save/continue feature, or make the boss a bit less retarded and not able to devastate a pretty powered up character in one round.
