One of the best clock movies I've ever seen.
Okay, this is a review of part 1 and 2 together.
Graphics - 10/10, no doubt. I find it amazing that you've turned a simple idea like clocks into something that can still have great shading, amazing background detail and object detail. If you really look closely, you can see how much hard work you put into every single object in the whole movie, so that it looks as great as possible. One of the things that I liked most about it was the clocks expression. I mean, even with just a circle for the eye you can still see how they're feeling, just from how it bends. Everything was just so detailed, from the hands, to the guns, and it really payed off in the end.
Style - Great idea. Very original. I don't have much else to say about this, but awesome idea. The characters all had their own personality, which would be really hard to achieve, as they all basically have the same voice. I just find it so amazing how you've turned all of these crappy clock movies that keep getting submitted, into an actual good, frontpage material clock movie that is worthy of awards.
Sound - The music choice is great. The theme songs awesome, the main menu song got stuck in my head instantly, and all of the other songs fit the mood perfectly. All of the clocks voices are put it at the exact right time, and sound perfectly clear with no scratchiness.
Violence - Quite a lot of violence, but I really like how you put a lot of deatil into the blood and gun shot marks, which made it look even more realistic. The fight scenes were awesome, it was very entertaining watching clocks and locks fight.
Interactivity - I love the whole DVD theme. It makes it seem so real, like it's an actual movie, which makes it even more entertaining. Only thing is that it could've had more special features, a making of video would of been nice.
Humor - The writing is brilliant. It's not just all swearing and saying sexual things that usually make absolutely no sense. You build up the characters, set up a great plot, and throw in a whole slew of clever jokes. Once again, I'm amazed.
Overall - 21 OClockStreetTheMovie is a masterpiece. The best clock movie I've ever seen by far. Hell, it's even one of the best movies I've ever seen. I'm really looking forward to more stuff from you. Furthermore, I was curious as to if you could create a download link to download the .swf file of both parts combined, since the size wouldn't matter anymore, so you could view it as a whole. Can't wait for your next flash.
