Excellent animation, nice choice of music, but only a decent attempt at a storyline. Oh, I voted a 4, don't worry, but it would have been a 5 if the plot had been consistent. For instance, the hero wakes up in the middle/end of a battle, fights his way out of the barracks, and...The entire enemy army has already won the fight, took whatever they came for, and left in the thirty seconds it took him to get out there?!
yea, I know but I figured a little inconsistency was worth saving the many hours of work that I would have had to trash.

A great start.
Did you draw inspiration from David Gemmell's Legend of the Drenai saga? This was how it seemed at the start, but quite honestly, toward the end, I felt it was a different tale completely. The brightness/contrast options were a nice touch, but I couldn't fine-tune it enough for my liking.
This is a great movie, maybe all it needs are a few voices to really set it apart from the rest, as a quality movie.
I shall eagerly await the next part of this tale...

I really enjoyed watching this. I thought the soundtrack really went well with what was going on. The contrast adjustment thing was a pretty neat addition too.
I'd have to say my only qualms with the piece was the signature in the top left corner being displayed the whole time, i can understand the need to have such things...but maybe after the first couple seconds have elapsed in the film it could just fade away (kind of how the divx watermark does in avi files).
Also at the very end there isn't an option to go back to the title screen, the red hot chilli peppers song just loops.

all around a very good flash, but you did something that i have not seen very often. You got me immersed in the compelling story. I just couldnt help but liking this. The graphics were great and so was the animation. But i felt at sometimes a little more detail could have been helpful in the environments. this is not a big problem. I really liked your style too. Once again with the immersive story and plot, but also with your animating style, and story telling skillz. Animating style was cool, fairly unique and skillful all the way through. I liked the way the story was told and well the story itself.
I really enjoyed the sound becuase it helped out with the mood. The songs throughout were all very cool and very well chosen to suit the mood you were trying to make. The sound effects throughout were pretty cool aswell. I liekd the violence in this, not too cartoony, and not to guresome...just perfect. There was enough violence to satisfy any craving.
Overall this was just great. Great story, good animating, godo sounds...all you really need. Congrats on this! 4/5
