Yep the coin are too slow, incrase the rate. And please give Mario a max speed; if you run and jump on the edge of the screen u appear on the other side but u can accelerate and accelerate and accelerate until the game crash :)

you really need to spend more time when you make a game, especially if you want it to be good.
Alright game, but pretty boring.
Mabey if you added some enemys in there, like obsticals that could kill you it would be more like the classic mario, meaning more fun. Just add something in there to make it more addictive and you got yourself a great game.
Also: Press the "0" in the numpad to change up marios looks and the thing he is standing on.

sprites are nothing new, but despite the slowness that people complain about, I found that it ran a lot smoother than some of the other games I've played using similar sprites. It's slower than the original SMB games, but honestly not by much. I suppose it's more equivalent in speed to the ancient origingal Mario Bros. game. Not much to do in this game though. Just very repetitive gameplay. It could use some additional platforms perhaps, that allow you to grab coins and maneuver around bullets with considerably more variety. Also, a stage setup that altered the landscape that you collect on with each level would be beneficial. Last gripe, needs music. I know it seems like a weak issue, but I've found I always enjoy a game more when there's some decent sound in the background to play to. Oh, and I didn't run into the one coin drop problem I keep hearing about.
