Reviews for "Cthulhu In Your Dreams"

Messy, but good

This song sounds a bit messy from time to time, but after listening to it about 3 times in a row I begin to realize that this "messy sounds" fit very well to the title.
I haven't read any Cthulhu stories by Lovecraft yet (it's something I plan to do in the future), but I have of course read some articles about this myth and from what I read I think this song fits very good into this myth.

However, the end of the song is a bit too abrupt. It kind of ends with a little drum solo, but then after the last cymbal sound the song starts again and is suddenly cut off. I think you should edit out the last few seconds to make the ending sound better.

A little noisy

It's got a good beat, but the way that this piece really start to struggle is hwo it seems to be fighting against itself. I can understand with the invocation of things like Great Cthulhu, you're going to be going more than slightly mad with a piece like this, but at the end of the day, there are things that can be tidied up within.

Perhaps you could give us a slightly more surreal imagery when you get to the really messed up part. Perhaps take some of the bass out and mess with the beat, giving a sense of impending doom. You know that it's coming, so put a 'calm before the storm' in there and then hit us with something big, loud and scary, since that's usually what happens before the tentacles reach out and grab you.

It's sinister, but not quite sinister enough.

Good Tune...

...But im going to have to agree with Haggard, the ending doesnt sound quite right, it should either be trimmed a little, or even add a little more to it.

id also have to agree with coop, give us a little more diversity in the beat.
hope to see more H.P renditions, possibly crawling chaos with an 'opium' feel to it?
May CTHULU be with you!

Yeah it was my first electronic song, back when I began experimenting with synths. I think if I were to redo it, it could possibly be a better song.
