Reviews for "Moonlit Techno"

nice try

good job for a first time if you keep trying you will get better suggestion listen to the really good songs that people like and figure out a way to make a better techno song

like your quiet songs better

cool song, a little off tempo, but kinda..... not you. sorry dude but i like your music better when its quiet.

not my thing...

...but you have obviously put effort into making this, so i credit u for that. I'm not into this genre of music, so it would take a piece of sheer genius to make me give any Techno trk a 10/10.
It's good to hear someone who can actually play the keyboard instaed of step-recorded syncopated, obviosly quantised instruments.
the timing is a little out in places, but i like that, cos at least it feels real.
Nice stuff.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Your review is well recieved... I myself am no big techno fan... I just realized a potential for that kinda thing a melody I was conjuring. And yes... it's a nice feeling knowing every note is your own and not a looped computer creation. Thanx.

Original but Off

Dance music without quantization sounds comepletely sloppy and wrong.

That isn't to say you didn't write a good piece of music--I love the chord structure you used for dance and the cheesey lo-fi synth lead over synth piano makes it sound like a B horror movie's ending theme--but the timing issues and more than a few odd dissonances detract. If you're considering re-visiting this, I'd suggest quantizing so that every note is exactly on-beat.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Thanx for the critique. I'll certainly look into improving the timing. But with real time track writing... it's difficult. It's all up to my hands. Thanx for the suggestions though.
