I never understanded how thier chicken mind powers to summon thier friends work, but if you could have a cucco horde summon item that would be cool =D

This could have been a much better movie... but it wasn't.
Get more innovative next time around. Murder the chicken using ways not physically possible in zelda games!! Like arrow+bomb ( I know this is possible in links awakening ) thing's of this nature and actually showing the fight... could make it possibly entertaining
