Reviews for "Stormrise"

Power metal on NG?

HELL YES. This one is awesome, and I wonder what it would've sounded like with vocals. The riffs are very much suited for the genre, and especially that lead riff. The quality isn't too bad either. FYI, I am in fact a power metal fan, so I know what power metal sounds like, and this would've been such a great song if it was given vocals and a bit more variation on the riffs during the second or third time around. Also, if you're ever going to take this direction again, get another guitarist. Dual guitar solos for the win; imagine the main riff with that.

...I typed that paragraph mcuh quicker than I do other reviews. Maybe because this is one of, if not my favorite genres =)

5/5, 10/10. Fav'd.

cool

v cool

pretty good

its somewhat not good to me cuz i love heavy metal but this song has an awesome beat like i said i like heavy metal

Love the energy; a little repetitive but very good

I liked it a lot, it does seem to kind of repeat a lot, as in you play the same set of chords a lot before moving on to the next. Overall though, it's really good, I also thought it was cool how it seems to loop into itself.

Also, the fact you didn't add any vocals isn't necessarily a bad thing. This song is extremely compatible, whether with an action game (like Armored Ashura, that's how I found this :P) or a flash video, or even a real video, it's usable with so many things. It really gets your blood flowing.

great one

your drummer is good as hell, if its recorded and not synthesized

little question, do you know how to connect a e-guitar to the pc's soundcard without getting disturbing noise in the background while recording??

DGF-Azazel responds:

One thing you might try is turning off your monitor while recording, it can screw with the pickups and make all kinds of strange sounds.
