wow
That was pretty good to be honest. Maybe u should make a long movie with the same idea.

Rotoscoping is teh rox.
I happen to really be a big fan of rotoscoping, so seeing it done in flash is delightful for me! The pretentious artist in me likes it a lot, and would love to see more. It's impressive, I didn't see any re-used footage or cheats. And I know me, I'd be completely lazy about the whole thing.
good
for a rotoscope it wasnt that amazing, but not too shabby, as far as directing a coreography and all that. also they probably didnt use a rotoscope for lord of the rings cuz rotoscopes are for 2D, what they probably used was motion capture, but yeah, same difference.
lazy
dude, rotoscoping isn't very hard. you just trace over footage. so i can't really understand why you'd leave it looking that shoddy when you already have everything you need to work with. that sketchy style is fine, but it gets pretty crazy there. keep it under control, and for god's sake, you shouldn't leave it looking so shaky. just turn on onion skinning and align the characters so they don't shake around like that. other than that, and the pointlessness, it's fairly good animation, but you really shouldn't have stopped there.
honestly this is pretty good when it comes down to the concept of walk cycles and character movement. I still have problems animating character movements to today which is a problem with my sonic animation.
