Reviews for "Twins of Duality"

Nice

Very nice combo you got here guys, I got a lot to say about this one.

Good Things:
-Cool heartbeat bass effect at the beginning.
-Very nice choir at the beginning. Got kind of repetitive at some points though.
-I liked how the low strings and brass joined in shortly after the choir came in.
-Great use of backing choir to back up the main choir melody.
-Nice flute use on the happy parts.

Bad Things:
-The piano I found to be kinda repetitive and if anything kinda unnecessary. Sounded kinda random at some points and stuck out.
-The beat could use a bit of work. It should blend more with the choir and all that. It feels to separate from the melody itself. Although that's what usually is the hardest thing to do in hip-hop/classical songs. Getting the actual classical part and beat to meld well. The bass should hit deeper and not sound as hollow, the snare sounded kind of odd too. If anything both the bass and the snare were kinda hollow sounding. Those along with the hi-hats were also a bit too loud as well. They should be pulled back a bit so that the melody can really move the listener, but the beat should still be there to drive the song forward.
-The transition to the happy part at 1:54 was cool although it could've been smoother. It sounded a bit too sudden.
-When the choir came in at 2:49 it was pretty cool, but the chimes were starting to get in the way. They were way too loud and should've faded out earlier. But the backing choir work there was exceptional.
-I would've liked some independent string melodies and some more powerful brass use here and there. It would've suited the song rather well.
-The beat got kind of boring after awhile. There should've been some variation. The song was also kind of long though.

Great job to both of you guys. I would really like to see more songs like this in the future. You can never go wrong with a good combination of classical and hip-hop. Keep em' coming, 5/5, peace.

Great track!

Your music is fantastic, just about professional grade! I liked this one in particular. It was perfect for a nightmarish boss monster like the Hydra. Speaking of nightmare, it sounds to me like the chorus is chanting "wake me up", but is that true?

Oh, and is there a possibility of a 3rd Epic Battle game in the works? If it does happen, hope to hear more of your music touches in it! Keep up the good work, we all enjoy listening! ^_^

hmm

this tune is catchy but you took the actual words from the hitman 2 silent assassin game. at least thats where i heard those words before. sounds like you just cut them out from there and made a tune out of it.
o well, no rant from me this is a good piece of work, so thumbs up

great song

really great song, where did you get those choirs, they sound awesome

lol fl keys...

nothing really to say, great drum track, it has a great trashyness which sounds great with all of the pristine classical stuff

great work, both of you

3 PM!

This gets a 9 probably because it has such a great title, if not one of the best I've heard. I couldn't really hear a lot of dual personality stuff going on, but it was still very nice. It really sounded like it was saying, "3 PM" over and over, which was kind of funny. If anything, this worked well as something that had a lot of rythum and a pleasant theme. It was interesting at how you collaberated with DJ-Delinquent on this. Is he by chance another audio guy on this website or is he an actual celebrity?
