Astounding and Pleasant
Very nice, and the composition reminds me of an arrangement of the Christmas Carol, Noel, in some segments.
I'm very fond of the instrumentation as well, as I often use a Celtic style in my own music. The ensemble of strings with the tin penny and recorder is such a pleasant mixture of instruments to use, and I would like to hear more of your live performances if possible.
Some things are to note, though. During the higher key change, at around 02:17, I would of liked to of heard a short solo of a lower irish whistle transitioning into the key change, instead of you having to hit a lower note. Also, the segment was just a bit too high for me. Of course, my opinion is just personal taste, and I'm not sure if you would agree with my suggestion or not, but there's always room for improvement in everything we create. The pitch is really the only thing that bugged me, and everything else seems flawless in my opinion.
I really liked this performance, as it conveys a mood of returning home to the country, a feeling we all can relate to. I would definitely like to collaborate a piece of music with you some time. Of course if you're up for it, I'm sure we would produce something interesting for the masses to hear.
I will continue to watch your progress with enjoyment, and again I hope to hear more from you.
