Polarity Megaman . . . That's New (to me)
Wow, this was definitely something new from a Megaman kind of thing. I thought this game was pretty gamn good. This sure does add a new twist to the games of Megaman.
Awesome graphics, with the buster shots, that polarity shield, and the sprites themselves. The ready screen was definitely good too. I account for everything when I make a review.
The story did seem interesting, but I dont know the full story yet, so i'm not sure where it's going. I know you said it's between polarity 2 and 3, but I haven't seen those yet.
The music was freakin awesome. The 2nd level music was probably my favorite. It definitely got me going. I thought that the music was also well selected.
The polarity definitely made me think a lot more then I should think, in some kind of way. I had to decide whether to be on the defensive, or go on an x2 atk offense. I also had to take into consideration of where to go for lives because if you didn't land at a right spot, you would miss the life.
The polarity thing also gives it it's own originality, so that definitely was not something anyone had done yet. However, that one reviewer, XenoSlight did mention something... The bug. It turns out I had the same encounter. However, unlike him, I overcame it. After multiple, and I mean MULTIPLE ammounts of tries, instant kill suicides, and many life consuming (since lives reappear when you restart at a position), I FINALLY opened the door. Now, I know it should of just opened on the first time, but it didn't work for me so i'm not sure.
All in all, definitely one of the greatest Megaman games of all time. Sure it was challenging, but not too challenging, very beatable. I hope to see more Megaman flash games from ya. Later
