Reviews for "MMPolarity Reconstruction"

good job

Interesting mix of the polarity idea and megaman. I think this supplements the 3 animations you created quite well. The game was easier than megaman, but still a challenge. Giving us 3 lives was suicide. 10-20 would be more reasonable, but I prefer 1/0. Infinite lives are a decent substitute for continues and would require little additional programming (a guess).

Interesting that none of the reviews I read had a spoiler for the cheats, which I thought would be helpful. The game told me the first cheat somehow, but I couldn't remember it after I died. Of course, the one thing that always pisses me off with these online games is the starting over from the very beginning after losing all of one's lives. I can imagine few things more frustrating. Even using the right click play thing (knew about, but didn't think about using until after reading the reviews) got tedious very quickly. In the end, I lost all patience and decided to do something else. Good game, and good implementation despite my grievances.
It is also interesting that some of your replies to the reviews are similar to my own writing style/mentality.

Frankenroc responds:

I didn't realize how much a continue feature would have been necessary until I read some reviews. Once version 1.1 is approved, I hope you'll give it another chance. :)

great game

It combines two of some of the best game concepts, megaman and ikaruga. Very interesting and very fun. One problem though I had with it. The 2nd chapter when trying to jump over the big gap, Im not sure you have to close the gap somehow beforehand but I could never jump that gap. Overall though, Nice job.

Frankenroc responds:

I think you mean the 3rd Chapter's big gap... and for that, don't kill the wind blower before you cross the gap. *hint* :)

Absolutely Mindblowing.

This was amazing. I actually have never had this much fun playing a flash game, I actually beat it! I've never done that before with a flash game, I usually get bored before I can finish, but not with this.

The idea was extremely orignal, I was very curious to try this when I saw it on the front page, and it was extremely worth it. I just really like how well you mixed Ikaruga and Megaman together, this whole game was just stunning.

I can't wait until the next part :)

Frankenroc responds:

Glad you liked the game.

Technically, the "next part" is MMP3, which I made over a year ago and is available in my list of other works. :)

"Wow, that was all kinds of not fun"

I love that line on the final conversation between Megaman and Protoman! Anyway, I've watched all your movies and I wholly agree with all the people that say you should work for Capcom. I have probably beaten the game 50 or so times trying to get those darn cheats and I usually ace the first stage easy. I did get up to the third cheat and it's fun at first but the loop is way too short. Anyway, I'll keep on trying and hopefully you'll make another game.

Frankenroc responds:

Glad you liked that line in the final stage.

I might consider increasing that loop, the only concern is the file size... :/

Glad you liked it. If you liked that line, I'm sure you'll love the 5th cheat code when you get it. :)

Awesome!!!!!!!!!

This is awesome and anybody who thinks is a faggot who should be tracked down and have the @#$% beat out of them just make codes to go to a certain level. keep up yhe great work!

Frankenroc responds:

I'm assuming you mean "anybody who thinks OTHERWISE is..."

I might put in a password system later, but once v1.1 is approved, there will at least be a continue option.
