The fact that Bezo and I have both done comics is pretty much what introduced us to each other - we realized that we both have an interest in MK, and both have a good sense of humor, and we were ready to do something else that would be fun and we could work together on it. So, think of Spirit Liu as a launching pad towards this ;)
Actually, Bezo liked the idea of KotK so much, that he's also doing his own completely drawn series called "Konquest Adventure". I've seen a preview, and it will kick all ass. If the trailer for it is ready soon, we'll try and include it as a special feature in the next KotK.

These seem to be getting better by the second. I hope you will not skip through all realms though, I'd like to see some dialogue with the other characters in their cutscenes.

I think it's great that you enjoyed this so much! It seems you've watched through them all, which is good because you're not missing out on anything.
If we do introduce some other characters, they will most likely focus on someone MKD-exclusive or even Konquest-exclusive. There's tons of kontent in there just ripe for the parody, and honestly, I think enough people are doing parodies with the older characters. Stay tuned, though, you're definitely in store for some surprises in the future! ;)

Well, we love Damashi ;) But that's the great thing about parodies, whether you love or hate the original, you can always appreciate the parody. It's a win/win situation for us.

Great movie. I finaly finished Kenshi's style branching combos. now I'm having trouble with Raiden's advanced combos!

Somehow, the combos never gave me a problem. Except for trying to remember them. When the buttons appeared on screen, it was really easy. Just press them.
